The New York Times posted what it claims are sworn statements from the Soldiers of 1/2 IN BN accused of killing innocent civilians and framing them with dropped weapons, taking body parts as souvenirs, and taking pictures of themselves in poses with the corpses.
They paint the picture of a leader creating an environment of illegal, unethical, and immoral behavior. No matter how it turns out, one cannot deny the argument that leaders are responsible for creating an ethical climate. The results of creating anything contrary to Army values is painfully evident.
